Fix things where you live, and build up Cash for your Community.
Have you got experience of fixing things like IPhones, Cameras, Tablets, Computers, MP3’s Mobile Phones etc.
Have you learnt from on-line sites as well as real experience that you can evidence that you know how to fix things and can do it safely.
If you have then why not consider working with LocalitEEE and receive repairable products or spares from your local community.
Have you ever thought why we end up buying Reused Goods from online shops and town centre shops, when these goods actually came from near where you live.
Take back deals to get a discount on a new product, can be attractive, but consider what could happen if you kept the broken item local:
- It could provide work for someone local
- It could provide spares to help someone else avoid debt
- It could create a new local Community Group specialising is Product Spares
- It would reduce the cost of disposal from your local council, and therefore potentially justify your call for a Rate Reduction
- It would reduce the amount of carbon production and lower the energy demand
- It could create new jobs where you live
- It can increase the cost of purchasing a repaired item from an online shop in another part of the country
- It could spawn the beginning of collection groups on the housing estates, who could specialise in supply of specific components.
Would you agree with LocalitEEE that it would be far better to have these repair jobs done in the community. Can you see how it’s harmful to the environment and costly to the taxpayer to have goods travel all across the county, sometimes only to be sold again in your local community via a shop, or on-line source. Would you agree with us that if items were repaired safely and locally, then employment could be a reality without the need to travel far and thus save your energy demand and associated costs that are a barrier to employment.
Our LocalitEEE Community Development platform is looking get registered community fixers, items that have value and let them operate at a local level under the LocalitEEE Brand.
When the new Appliance Safety Register opens up, this will begin to build a Marketplace for Communities to supply and purchase recycled spares to help the Repair & Reuse policy all UK Governments are developing.
We have developed a Leads based system that citizens can use to help their local community and their own Jobs Prospects. Fixers would be registered initially for Free on our Business Directory, and leads will be diverted to you for collection. We hope to be working with some Retailers and Groups to procure Product Group Deals, whereby even new products are sold to the Community in the LocalitEEE Community owned Online Shop. When that is done, we attribute the cash and Volunteer Currency creation to the local company. Integrated to our Appliance Register, will be the collection of the old products that would go to the local businesses that are professionally and legally compliant. This can also include Charities, Social Services and Local Authorities.
