Have you got experience of fixing things like IPhones, Cameras, Tablets, Computers, MP3’s Mobile Phones and even Domestic Appliances?
Have you learnt from online sites as well as real experience that you can evidence that you know how to fix things and can do it safely?
Would you perhaps like to look at a Training Opportunity, such as a Qualification in the repair of White Goods where you live?
There is a distinct lack of skills and jobs for a Circular Economy, and the Local repair and refurbish industry provides a fantastic opportunity. The Joseph Rowntree Organisation shows that the young and older age groups suffer most from lack of jobs. Retailers should start working with us, and begin to work smarter.
So if you have experience why not consider working with LocalitEEE and be rated through the EEESafe & LocalitEEE model based on standards. You’ll be working with your local community who will also rate your work and your commitment to safety.
Have you ever thought why we end up buying Reused Goods from online shops and town centre shops, when these goods actually came from near where you live. Would you agree with LocalitEEE that it would be far better to have these repair jobs done in the community. Can you see how it’s harmful to the environment and costly to the taxpayer to have goods travel all across the county, sometimes only to be sold again in your local community via a shop, or online source. Would you agree with us that if were repaired safely and locally, then employment could be a reality without the need to travel far and thus save your energy demand and associated costs.
Our community model seeks to establish registered community fixers for goods other than Large Electrical Appliances, for which we support via the EEESafe Standard.
Through community incentives and interaction, we intend to build Quality Assured Recycled Components both Functional and Cosmetic, that can be installed where required by registered local repairers. This will help create local work in the community where you live. The system will allow you to buy and sell locally, components for your chosen repair sector. The provision of leads from your local community will also help prevent waste and tackle poverty.
We are looking to gather Community Fixers working under our Brand. Some examples are:
- EEESafe Computers
- EEESafe Digital Cameras
- EEESafe TV
- EEESafe Tablets
- EEESafe Mobile Phone
- EEESafe SDA’s (Small Domestic Appliances)
Working with us, we can begin to evidence and take control of our own Communities to live within our means, tackle poverty, positively impact the environment and evidence all this as part of our Sustainable Living Mission.
If that interests you, the please let us know who you are and what you do and we’ll keep you informed as we recruit more partners and let you know how you can get involved.
Contact us with your details if you’d like to get involved.
