The image above is a 60cm Undercounter Fridge, which sells in Reuse outlets around £60-£90, which is close to some new prices, so when compared to the advertised price of £314, you can appreciate how ridiculous this is, when compared to what we can achieve with local Waste Prevention.
Below is a sequence of images to highlight part of the problems we experience in our communities around the world. There are issues of safety in Electrical Reuse that are caused by Government Policies, and the Reuse Protocols developed by BIS and Promoted by British Standards Institute. That’s something we can help with on another topic, but lets look at the sequence of images first. Bear in mind that Governments are searching for community solutions, particularly with all the Budget cuts and austerity. Through our LocalitEEE Platform, we advocate partnership instead of pouring millions of Taxpayers money into expensive Publicly owned ideas. Lets hope this article makes some of us think about working with us and help to foster engagement with Communities and Businesses. We do need to have smarter working at Government and Community Level, particularly as we need to take into account the full costs of delivering Social, Economic and Environmental outcomes efficiently and effectively.
Put the Taxpayers Money back into the hands of the Community. They are far better at Local Solutions.

It’s not rocket science to see that a revenue opportunity is possible at a local level. It’s also not difficult to note that Manufacturers need to take responsibility about how they contribute to the Waste of Perfectly usable consumer items. Working with us on our Free Community Platform, has got to be the most cost efficient solution to society for all citizens and businesses.
If we keep items out of the Waste Stream by operating more efficiently at a local level, we’ll be more able to regenerate our local economies. By doing it the LocalitEEE way, we can capture community metrics that evidence savings in Waste Tonnage Reduction, Carbon Reduction, Volunteer and Social outcomes by Community Electoral Wards.
The local platform can be run and owned by Local Communities or can operate under our national model. Together we can develop and promote local skills for a circular economy and provide revenue streams where you live.
Together we can efficiently tackle poverty, assist and create local employment, help prevent debt and offer a huge connectivity platform that creates local revenues for communities and businesses.
Note: The EEESafe Standard links to the Platform by helping to prevent the passing on of Fire Risk Appliances, and ensures Reused/Refurbished items are actually safer to use in the home. We also offer Local Training opportunities. More details on that can be found here.
